Ahhh! I'm Technologically Impaired!

I love my iPod Touch. It's no secret. I don't want to pay over two grand for an iPhone, but i still wanted the apps and games. Little less than a year ago I got a 2nd generation 32GB iPod Touch. Well, the touch screen stopped responding or randomly selected things about a week ago. I finally sent it back to Apple yesterday (they will send me a new one) and boy, do I miss it; especially since Apple announced yesterday the new version of the iPod Touch with iPhone 4-like display and the front and rear facing cameras. Now I want one! The problem is its $249-$399. Anyone want to buy my brand new from the factory 2G one when it gets here?

I'm Back In Black, Baby!

Back from a week of vacation...miss me? Thanks for saying so, even if you didn't notice. That's just means Craig did a great job (thanks, Craig.) I kicked off Vinyl Monday this morning with Side Two of Back in Black from AC/DC. On this date in 1980, the album entered the charts, then sold 19 million records. On Vacation - First Stop

Outside Iowa City, visited the birth place of Herbert Hoover, he was President AND he invented the vacuum cleaner... Genius. Tomorrow I'm going farther West, gotta see if this world being round is really true. Oh, I almost forgot... I figured out how the universe can still be accelerating and it's structure last night laying in bed. I'll tell you more about when I have a chance to crunch some numbers. And when I say crunch some numbers, I really mean ask somebody who understands how to crunch numbers like that. That's all for now, I'll let you know how things go soon, if I don't fall off the face of the Earth or drown. Pete

If you wished you could have gone to Eric Clapton’s Crossroads Guitar Festival in Chicago last month, here’s the next best thing. Get to Movies 14 on Edison Road in Mishawaka for the 7:30PM show tonight. Catch the two hour a two-hour highlight film from the all day festival. In addition to Eric Clapton, the show features Steve Winwood, Jeff Beck, B.B. King, ZZ Top, Robert Cray, Jimmie Vaughan, and Johnny Winter. Can’t make it tonight? Today marks the 35th anniversary of The Eagles album One of These Nights becoming the number 1 sellling album just seven weeks after its release. We celebrated with side one on Vinyl Monday, catch it at 10AM Mondays on 95.7 WAOR. Plus, The Eagles have a lot to celebrate. Just recently The Eagles tour was slated as the top 8th highest grossing tour at the half way point of the tour season, grossing 28 million dollars. Classic Rock is alive and kicking!
